Over 3 years ago, we officially broke ground in the USA. We setup shop in friendly Waltham, a small suburb outside of Boston, hired the best of the best IT talent and began the journey of enlisting American enterprise customers to take a chance on Mimecast.
Our approach has been well rewarded so far. Customers loved our cloud offerings and, at a time when Microsoft was telling the market “Migrate your Exchange Servers Today,”we quickly grew our fan base.
Fast forward 2 years and we found ourselves with a dilemma.
We knew Exchange inside out and had a host of customers wanting to move their email to Mimecast, yet sometimes customers actually struggled to get the data to us. With a number of tools in the market -many with followings that challenged the masses that used to line up to follow the Grateful Dead - we needed to find a tool for extracting the complex nature of email confidently. We made it our mission to fill the Extraction gap. Enter Binary Tree.
With over 20 years of experience in extracting content from legacy email platforms, Binary Tree’s arsenal of successfully completed extractions has more checkmarks than my music library. And while they may not be the household name that everyone turns to when they think extraction; Mimecast is a best-in-practice company that likes to have quiet over-achievers alongside us in the sandbox.
Through our newly formed alliance, Mimecast and Binary Tree Partners not only gain the necessary tools and platforms they need for their customers, they also get to apply best-in-practice Extraction and Ingestion services to ensure data sovereignty is maintained during their migration.
Our combined services offering enables channel partners to easily manage the migration while providing their customers with the peace of mind they are looking for when migrating such a mission critical system and content. Binary Tree and Mimecast, two engineering led organizations have formed a partnership that ensures data journeys safely to the cloud. Simply put, we’re better together.
